Trick-or-treating

After an afternoon of playing outside in the rain, Conner ops for a devil costume rather than a muddy bunny.

The rain let up just in time for the festivities. Conner and Aidan with our across-the-street neighbors hitting our house!

The crowds at our house. We ended up sitting outside so we didn't have to keep opening the door. Our neighbor counted 200+ trick-or-treaters for the evening.

Our Halloween decor

Here is our Halloween decor not as elaborate or scary as some of the neighbors. I like it because it is simple. But I think this is the last year I'm going to get away with simple. The boys are wanting some oohey gooey scariness.

Pumpkins are designed and mostly scooped by Aidan and Conner and carved by me.

Conner's is the one on the far left and the second from the right. Aidan's are the other two. Tomorrow is the big day. Let's keep our finger crossed that is doesn't rain as forecasted!

Halloween Tour

On Wednesday we took a tour of the halloween decoration in the neighborhood under the safety of daylight. A few houses were deemed to scary for trick-or-treating at night.

Let's try this blogging thing

I've been thinking about this for long time and finally decided to stop thinking just do it. This will be a simple, straightforward blog. It will mainly be to keep family and friends updated on our life with the boys. Let the grandparents see a little day to day life. We'll see how it goes. Posted by Picasa
